Mike Epps Announces New Tour- Mike Epps After Dark Tour



Comedian Mike Epps and Live Nation have come together for Mikes' 2014 tour deemed the Mike Epps: After Dark Tour which will cover over 42 cities nationally and internationally. Tickets became available for sale starting Friday, January 31 at 10 AM at www.Livenation.com and at  www.TicketMaster.com

American Express(R) Card Members were able to purchase tickets exclusively from Tuesday, January 28 at 10 AM through Thursday, January 30 at 10 PM. Tickets became available for purchase by the general public beginning yesterday at 10 AM on Friday, January 31.

"I look forward to hitting the road and taking it to the next level. I have new fresh jokes that are grown, adult and sexy. I have reached the big leagues working with Live Nation," said Epps.

Epps steadily worked  his way up the stand-up comedy ranks througout the underground scene until he was recognized by a nationally in 1995 when he appeared on the Def Comedy Jam tour and HBO's Def Comedy Jam.  Epps' first on-screen appearance came in Vin Diesel's directorial debut, Strays in 1997. Since then, he has been in numerous films including the cult hit "Next Friday" and "Friday After Next" alongside good friend and the films' producer, Ice Cube. Epps, also had major cameos and supporting roles in movies like Dj Pooh directed film, 3 Strikes and the Jaime Fox starring film Bait.  He also got to voice another bear character (Boog) in the 2008 film Open Season 2.  Epps most recently starred in "The Hangover 3" and alongside Jordin Sparks and Whitney Houston in the 2012 remake of Sparkle, his first non-comedic role. Epps' performance was well-received by critics and audiences. He released numerous Comedy Stand Up specials including "Funny Bidness, "Under Rated, Never Faded", and "Inappropriate Behavior." Epps is currently working on a baseball-themed movie, entitled Bad Behavior, alongside teen quartet Mindless Behavior, in which he plays their coach, AndrĂ© Parker and has begun the pre production stages of the long awaited sequel to his famed role as "Day Day" in the film "Last Friday."  Since his starts in films, has starred in over 30 feature films and won a NAACP Image Award for his role in the Sony Pictures film, "Jumping the Broom." On February 28 he can be seen in the upcoming film "Repentance" starring opposite Forest Whitaker and Anthony Mackie.
