Bumbershoot Festival | 2015 Lineup
Bumbershoot Festival is back and recently announced its' 2015 music, arts, film and comedy festival lineup! The 3 day labor day weekend event will take place on September 5th, 6th, and 7th 2015 and will host headliners such as Faith No More, The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, Hozier, Chance the Rapper, Cake, Flying Lotus, Zedd, Social Distortion, Brand New, Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Bassnectar, Fitz & The Tantrums, Flosstradamus, Brandon Flowers, Lindsey Stirling, and Neko Case and many others.
The festival promotes top names in music, comedy, film, dance, performing arts, visual arts, theatre, and literature attracting over 100,000 running during Septembers Labor Day weekend. Below you will find the 3 day labor day festivals' music, comedy, film, and writers lineup.
Bumbershoot Festival | 2015 Lineup
The Comedy, Words and Ideas segment of the festival will also be one of the highlights of the weekend. Here is a passage from the festivals press release:
"Bumbershoot is excited to announce the lineup for its Comedy and Words & Ideas programming for 2015, a diverse set of acts and offerings that includes appearances from former Seattleite Hari Kondabolu, The Office’s Kate Flannery in her send-up lounge act The Lampshades, rising star Alex Edelman, and an impressive display of local and regional talent including Emmett Montgomery, who can be seen in this year’s installment of Last Comic Standing, and Solomon Georgio who recently had his television debut on CONAN.
Bumbershoot’s popular Words & Ideas programming features conversations, performances, and readings that explore the points where pop culture, new media, literature, theories, and trends intersect and explode. Highlights of this year’s Festival include the Writers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The A.V. Club Live, and a special Bumbershoot taping of Sherman Alexie and Jess Walters’ popular podcast, A Tiny Sense of Accomplishment."

This year’s festival offers two mainstage locations, in both Memorial Stadium and KeyArena, as well as layaway plans for 3-Day standard and VIP passes.

This is the best function room in the city. The food they served at venues San Francisco was warm, fresh and tasty, and the panoramic window is a sight to behold on a clear day. Their main hall was similar to a club/lounge – however, it had more of an intimate feel.
