BET Awards 2014 is Here

The 2014 BET Awards Hosted by Chris Rock with performances by Pharrell Williams, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Drake, Lil Wayne, Trey Songz and Lionel Richie will be held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California on June 29, 2014. Chris Rock was unveiled as the host for the upcoming BET Awards on May 14 during the network's 106 & Park music video countdown show. As far as nominees go, Beyoncé and Jay-Z lead the nominations with 5 each. Drake, Pharrell Williams and August Alsina are tied for 4.

Some of the biggest names in entertainment will take the stage at the "BET Awards" 2014 including Pharrell Williams, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Drake, Lil Wayne, Trey Songz and Lionel Richie are among the names set to perform at the BET Awards show while celebreties like Kevin Hart and Kerry Washington are set to be in attendance and presenting along with Bow Wow, Larenz Tate, and Keyshia Chante.

Newcomer Jhené Aiko received three nominations including the Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award, Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, and the Centric Award. Janelle Monáe is up for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, while funny-man Kevin Hart is nominated for both Best Actor and Best Movie for Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain

The "BET Awards" will take place along with the BET Experience at L.A. Live in Los Angeles from June 27-29th.
