Disney On Ice Presents | Frozen On Ice Tour Dates | 2015 & 2016

Disney On Ice Presents Frozen is coming to a city near you and you don't want to miss out on this magical family fun experience.

Disney On Ice announces "Frozen" Tour Dates

Feld Entertainment, Inc. today announced that its 34th "Disney On Ice" tour will bring the animated hit Frozen, to life. "Disney On Ice presents 'Frozen'" will begin touring in September 2014 with tickets on sale now. You can also check out the first images from the show in the below!

The Academy Award-winning tale will be told live for the first time in this production, featuring a cast of 39 performers capturing the dynamic between two royal sisters, Anna and Elsa. Anna, a girl with an extraordinary heart, embarks on an epic journey to find her sister, the magical Elsa, who is determined to remain secluded as she finally feels free to test the limits of her powers. Rugged mountain man Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, the lovable and hilarious snowman Olaf and the mystical trolls help Anna along the way in this story about love conquering fear. Audiences will get to sing along songs like "Let it Go," "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" and "Fixer Upper." It will include a blizzard created by snow machines, a snowflake-shaped stage, and video projections to transport audiences to Arendelle, the North Mountain, and beyond.

"While it might seem obvious that 'Frozen' is well suited for the ice, this Disney On Ice production will touch audiences emotionally through innovative show elements and world-class skating."

Frozen directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee add, "Seeing audiences around the world embrace 'Frozen' has been the experience of a lifetime. And to now have the chance to consult with the talented team at Feld Entertainment and watch their creation come to life on ice, is thrilling."

In "Disney On Ice presents 'Frozen,'" Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse take the audience through the magical story based in Arendelle, with special appearances by beloved Disney princesses and favorite characters from Disney-Pixar's Toy Story and Finding Nemo and Disney's The Lion King, who come together to prove that true love is the greatest power of all.

Director Patty Vincent says, "Our goal is to showcase these heartwarming characters in a way that allows the audience to cheer and sing along throughout this emotional journey."

To create a completely immersive experience for the audience, the set design will encompass the space from the ice surface up through the air, drawing everyone into the story and closer to the characters. Families will feel that they are trekking up to the North Mountains with Anna, Kristoff and Sven, and they will tangibly experience the storm inside Elsa. Elsa's magic will be enhanced by state-of-the art special effects while her emotions will be conveyed through powerful skating.

After opening in Orlando, the "Frozen" tour will travel to cities including Tampa, Fla.; Atlanta; Baltimore; Newark, N.J.; and Minneapolis. The show will have several performances in New York at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in November.
No dates for Southern California stops have been announced so far.

Rehearsals for “Frozen” On Ice will begin in July. Tickets go on sale June 3 via DisneyOnIce.com, where a full list of cities and dates can be found.

Disney Junior Live On Tour! Pirate and Princess Adventure Tour Dates

Feld Entertainment, Inc., the producers of Disney On Ice and Disney Live!, is taking top performing cable TV series for preschoolers to the stage in Disney Junior Live On Tour! Pirate and Princess Adventure. Featuring characters from the Disney hit shows Sofia the First and Jake and the Never Land Pirates, this tour will hit 90 cities starting in Rosemont, IL at the Rosemont Theatre on March 14th . 

“The Feld Entertainment mission of providing quality live entertainment experiences that the entire family enjoys starts with Disney Live! because it is often a young fan’s first theatrical experience,” said producer Alana Feld.  “Children everywhere are falling in love with Sofia and Jake, and we are thrilled to bring these popular Disney Junior characters to the stage for the first time ever."

In this original storyline, Mickey and Minnie lead the audience on an exciting adventure that will have families rooting for their favorite pirate Jake and Disney's first little girl princess, Sofia. Disney Junior Live On Tour! Pirate and Princess Adventure begins with a special interactive pre-show featuring the loveable 6-year-old doctor to toys and stuffed animals, Doc McStuffins. Children and their parents will sing “The Check-Up Song” along with Doc as she provides tender love and care.

Audiences will then embark on a journey to the magical world of Enchancia, where Sofia, her step-siblings Amber and James, and the entire kingdom are preparing for the annual friendship festival. Sofia has the honor of delivering the perfect gift to her royal subjects at the celebration, and the one-and-only Cinderella visits the castle to help Sofia in her mission to find just the right present.

The excitement continues when families cast away to Never Land where Jake and his Yo Ho pirate friends Izzy and Cubby are in a race against time to locate a mysterious treasure-filled volcano. Danger, thrills and adventure lurk around every turn when our swashbuckling friends battle Captain Hook for the ultimate prize. Peter Pan makes a special appearance, aiding the team in their heroic quest, and with the help of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust, Jake and his crew fly above the stage in their journey.
